Apama Ameri

Apama Ameri is an experienced professional with a strong focus on mental health advocacy, education, and research. As the Director of the Mental Health Committee at Chaminade College Preparatory, Apama facilitated events to promote mental health awareness among students. In the role of Marketing Director at Girls for Medicine, Apama motivated young girls to pursue healthcare careers through social media engagement and supported a virtual summer camp. Current positions include Blogger for Undergrad Unfiltered, Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line, Academic Intervention Peer Mentor at the University of California, Riverside, and Psychological Clinic Assistant with Global Intern Collaborative. Additionally, Apama serves as a Youth Mental Health Academy Mentor at the Child Mind Institute, guiding students in professional development. Academic pursuits include a major in psychology at UC Riverside, where Apama is also involved in research and mentoring programs within Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
