Dev Patel

Dev Patel currently works as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe at El Camino Health since April 2025 and serves as a Clinical Researcher at UC Davis Health, contributing to a multi-omics project focused on heart failure. In addition, Dev Patel is actively involved as a Volunteer Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line and has experience as a Clinical Volunteer and Researcher at The Willow Clinic, where services were provided to homeless individuals. Previous roles include teaching middle school students as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative and interning at the Pacific Free Clinic, where Dev Patel gained practical experience in patient interaction and medical research. Dev Patel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at the University of California, Davis, with an expected graduation in 2024.
