Founded by BITS Pilani alumni and industry leaders Dr. Vijay Chandru, Sunil Arora, Aditya Sarda, and Bharat Jobanputra, and shaped by the guidance and vision of Prof. Rajeev Kohli, CrisprBits is a platform-first biotech company pioneering fast, scalable, and accessible CRISPR-based solutions.
We translate cutting-edge gene technologies into powerful tools for diagnostics, disease screening, and genome engineering, designed not just for advanced laboratories, but for any setting where they are needed most. At CrisprBits, we reimagine what CRISPR can do by engineering it to work faster, more economically, and without dependence on heavy infrastructure. Our platforms are modular, programmable, and optimized for real-world deployment, from remote clinics to research labs and field environments.
Our ecosystem of platforms includes:

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽 - A molecular diagnostics platform delivering high-accuracy detection of pathogens and resistance markers, with support for customizable assay design across human, animal, and environmental samples.

𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽 - An end-to-end genome engineering platform offering guide RNA design, custom editing workflows, and creation of engineered cell and organism models, enabling breakthroughs across research and therapeutic development.

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽 - A preclinical testing and therapeutics development platform built around the N-of-1 strategy, designed to accelerate personalized gene-editing interventions for patients with ultra-rare genetic disorders.

Powered by these platforms, we deliver CRISPR-based products and services across sectors including human health, biomedical research, animal health, food safety, agriculture, sustainability and climate, industrial biotechnology, biosecurity, and biodefense.

At CrisprBits, we are building the tools to rewrite what is possible – for science, for society, and for the future of our planet.
