Cristallina Design transforms Swiss Cristallina marble into collectible design objects. The brand explores the dialogue between rare natural material, contemporary design and craftsmanship, creating pieces that combine sculptural presence with everyday functionality.

Cristallina marble originates in the Swiss Alps and formed millions of years ago from ancient marine sediments. Its exceptionally large crystals give the stone its distinctive brilliance and crystalline transparency, while its strength makes it suitable for both interior and outdoor environments.
Each piece is unique, defined by the natural veining and the fourteen tonal variations of Cristallina marble. Production takes place in Ticino, Switzerland, where traditional stone craftsmanship meets contemporary technologies and sustainable processes, including solar-powered facilities and water recycling systems.

Cristallina Design collaborates with ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne) through the Master in Luxury & Craftsmanship. Each year students visit the Cristallina quarry in the Swiss Alps to discover the geological origin of the stone and the tradition of marble extraction. They then return to Lausanne to develop prototypes inspired by their encounter with the material. The most compelling projects evolve into collectible design objects — pieces conceived not only as sculptural forms but also as functional elements within architecture and everyday spaces.
