Etienne Sanson is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development, currently serving as the VP of Engineering for the Advertising Landscape at Criteo since October 2007. Overseeing a research and development department of approximately 80 personnel, Etienne focuses on the future of advertising, including challenges related to privacy, addressability, and measurement, and is responsible for Criteo's Contextual product. Previous roles at Criteo include Director of Product Engineering, Engineering Director for Audiences & New Product, and several engineering management positions, where responsibilities included leading teams in developing innovative advertising solutions and machine learning platforms. Prior to Criteo, Etienne held engineering consultancy roles at SOAT and various positions at Bouygues Immobilier and Société Générale, alongside early experience as an auditor and software developer. Etienne holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from CentraleSupélec and has a solid foundation in programming languages and technologies, including C#, SQL, and machine learning.
