Criterion Partners is a boutique advisory firm specializing in Operational Executive Intelligence (OEI) for mid-market technology-enabled organizations.

Most organizations navigating active transformation already have a PMO, governance frameworks, Agile practices, and executive reporting. They still fail to detect execution instability before it becomes a financial event.

The reason is structural. No intelligence layer exists to translate what leadership intends into what execution teams can verify — and to surface the gap when the two diverge. That missing layer is what Criterion Partners installs.

Our entry diagnostic, the OEI Snapshot™, is a structured 5-dimension assessment that identifies:

- Strategic Saturation — initiative overload and competing priority density
- Governance Responsiveness — decision latency and escalation suppression
- Execution Visibility — telemetry gaps and dependency opacity
- Reporting Integrity — false-green reporting risk and confidence distortion
- Organizational Sustainability — execution strain and adaptive capacity

The output is a 10-12 page executive intelligence brief delivered to the leadership team with a live findings review.

Criterion Partners serves COOs, Chief Transformation Officers, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Delivery, and founders running organizations of 100-5,000 employees in B2B SaaS, tech-enabled services, professional services, and digital enterprises.

The firm was founded by Bernadette Akpeko Thompson, whose advisory work spans Fortune 500 organizations, billion-dollar ventures, and high-growth fintechs. Her MBA in IT Management, and in progress DBA in Leadership equip the firm with a research-backed methodology that enables organizations to successfully bridge the gap between operational strategy and execution.

Our Ethos: Operational truth is the prerequisite for effective leadership.
