Critical Insight Inc is building CognOS — the world’s first distributed operating system for governed, agentic workloads.

CognOS provides the substrate for intelligent systems to observe, reason, and act safely at any scale.

Modern AI systems struggle to connect perception, memory, and action. CognOS unifies these into a coherent architecture built on three pillars:
Event Fabric (reactive nervous system for signals),
Agentic Orchestration (processes, workflows, and AI agents under policy and budget control), and
Knowledge Mesh (governed, multi-store memory that makes intelligence explainable and auditable).

With CognOS, organizations can:
• Build intelligent, self-governing agents and workflows that operate transparently under budgets and policies
• Connect streaming data, AI inference, and decision logic through a single reactive dataflow
• Achieve real-time observability, cost governance, and compliance across distributed systems

We believe the next generation of AI infrastructure isn’t just about scale — it’s about governance, accountability, and explainability.

Critical Insight Inc is designing the platform that makes intelligence itself a managed resource.
