Jacques Noels

Founder & Member of the Board at Crocus Technology

Jacques Noels has had a long and successful career in the semi-conductor industry. In 1965, they began their professional career at Texas Instruments as Vice President EMEA and later as President Directeur Général. In 1982, they joined Thomson SA as Vice President of Corporate Strategy. Jacques then moved to Thomson Semiconductor as CEO in 1984. In 1987, they became CEO of Nokia Consumer Electronics and a member of the Nokia OY Management Board. In 1993, they became CEO of Zenith Data Systems and in 1994, they were named Directeur Général Adjoint at Bull. In 2004, they founded Crocus Technology and served as a member of the Board and Board of Directors. In 2005, they became CEO of NEMOPTIC and in 2010, they were appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Riber, which designs and produces molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems.

Jacques Noels attended Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers from 1959 to 1963, where they earned a MSEE in Automatisme. Jacques then attended Cours des Hautes Etudes de l'Armement from 1981 to 1982, where they earned the title of Auditeur.
