Alex Pit

Alex Pit is an experienced operations executive currently serving as the Managing Director of Operations at Croda since September 2025. Prior to this, Alex held the position of Director of Operations North America at Covestro from April 2021 to September 2025. With a strong background in operations and management, Alex's career at DSM included various leadership roles, such as Director of Operations North America, Director of Operational Excellence, and Site Manager, spanning from September 2014 to April 2021. Earlier positions at DSM Nutritional Lipids and DSM Chemicals included program management and production roles. Alex began professional career as a Process Engineer at DSM Fiber Intermediates in 1995. Academic credentials include a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, earned between 1987 and 1992.
