Amit Kumar Das

Amit Kumar Das is an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong background in process engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Manufacturing Manager at Croda since September 2018, Amit oversees the manufacturing function, including warehouses. Prior roles at Croda include Lead Process Engineering Manager and Plant Manager, where responsibilities encompassed monthly production planning, shop floor safety, and quality management. Amit's experience also includes serving as Associate Manager at Jindal Stainless, focusing on coke oven byproduct operations, and as a Graduate Engineering Trainee in the same area. Amit has held leadership positions, such as Head Coordinator of the Technical Committee at NIT Raipur. Educational qualifications include a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Raipur and participation in the Emerging Leaders Program at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, set to conclude in March 2025.
