Finn Bauer

Finn Bauer has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Finn is currently working at Croda as the Vice President of Life Science R&D since June 2022. Prior to this, Finn worked at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, where they held various roles including Head of Excipient Solid Application, Head of Application Services, Head of Solid Formulations R&D, Head of Drug Delivery Compounds R&D, Head of Functional Excipients R&D, Site Manager, Head of Drug Delivery Application R&D, Project Manager - Drug Delivery Compounds, and Head of Laboratory - Central Analytical Services. Their tenure at Merck spans from 2006 to 2022.

Finn Bauer completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Hult Ashridge in 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth & University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2002 to 2005. Finn had also earned a Diploma in Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth between 1996 and 2001. As part of an ERASMUS exchange program, they studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London for the academic year 1999-2000.
