Laura Newton

Laura Newton has a diverse work experience spanning across different roles and industries. Laura started their career as a Development Chemist at NPIL Pharma in 2006, where they worked on process development. Laura then joined Croda in 2008, initially starting as a Commercial Graduate in their Development Scheme. During this time, they explored different areas of the business, including market research, sales coordination, and applications scientist roles. Laura transitioned into a Global Technical Sales Specialist role for Mining at Croda, where they provided commercial and technical guidance to the global mining sales teams. Laura also worked as a Sales Representative for the UK & Ireland territory, representing Geo Technologies and handling sectors such as Oil & Gas, Water Treatment, and Mining. Laura further progressed to become a Commercial Lead and Business Development Manager for Oil & Gas, where they delivered revenue growth and maximized opportunities through a Flow Assurance acquisition. Most recently, Laura held the position of EMEA Regional Sales Manager for Croda Pharma, leading a 23-person sales team and achieving significant growth in 2022. Currently, Laura serves as the Global Customer Experience Lead at Croda, where they are responsible for elevating the customer profile across the organization and integrating customer insights into various initiatives.
