Stephen Mellor

Stephen Mellor has extensive work experience in the chemical industry, primarily with the company Croda. Stephen started working for Croda Universal in 1994 as an R&D Chemist and later moved to Croda Leek in 1997, where they held various managerial positions, including Production Manager, Quality Control Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and Technical and Quality Assurance Manager. In 2010, Mellor joined Croda as a Research & Technology Manager and later gained promotions to roles such as Research & Technology Director - Health Care, Technology Development Director - Health Care, and Research & Technology Director. Their most recent position is Research & Technology Director - Croda Pharma, starting in October 2022.

Stephen Mellor earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Applied Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester in 1994. Prior to that, they attended Westwood High School from 1986 to 1991. Later, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Staffordshire University from 1996 to 1999.
