Simon McHugh

Simon McHugh is an R&D Engineer at CroiValve since September 2023, bringing recent experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Galway, where work focused on predicting yield strength in steels based on microstructural evolution. Prior roles include a mechanical engineering internship at DePuy Synthes, completing engineering work as part of an 8-month internship, and various positions, including a mechanical design intern at Aerogen and a warehouse associate at Autofulfil Limited. Simon holds a Master's of Engineering and a Bachelor's of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Galway.
