Dirk Nielsen

Dirk Nielsen is an experienced facilities maintenance and project management professional with a robust background in engineering and manufacturing. Currently serving as Facilities Maintenance Manager and Manufacturing Project Manager at Cronos Group since April 2021, Dirk previously held leadership roles including Director of Engineering and Director of Processing at 7ACRES, focusing on engineering department development and CPG packaging processes. Dirk's extensive experience also includes serving as VP Manufacturing at BG Furniture Ltd., Facilities Manager and Senior Facilities Engineer at Loewen, and CI/Operations Manager at Palliser Furniture Corporation, where responsibilities spanned manufacturing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Dirk Nielsen holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
