I work on a practical question for organisations that manage grain and oilseed grower portfolios:

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼?

Business conditions change throughout the season. As they change, different growers move into and out of profitable margin positions.

CropsProfit Track & Lock™ is a Portfolio Profit-Lock-In Platform that helps organisations track live margin versus target, receive profit alerts and record lock-in decisions without replacing existing brokers, contracts or channels.

Price alone does not protect a portfolio. Margin depends on price, yield, basis, costs, timing and execution discipline. Rather than predicting prices, Track & Lock™ helps teams answer two practical questions earlier:

"Is our grower's target margin available today?"

"Where should we act next?"

A crop marketing plan creates the most value when it becomes a live decision and execution workflow, not a seasonal document.

I built Track & Lock™ from more than 20 years in commercial grain and oilseed farming, followed by 10 years of research and product development. The concept has been supported by:

• a peer-reviewed study using eight seasons of data from 10 Free State farms, which reported improved profitability and a stabilising effect in that research context

• live LinkedIn case studies across maize, soya and sunflower.

The current focus is finding strategic partners to validate portfolio-level value through small, privacy-first pilot projects with:

• agri-finance and grower credit teams

• grain buyers and merchandisers

• advisory and agronomy organisations.

If you're exploring ways to improve portfolio visibility, execution discipline or grower engagement, message me 𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗢 and your function. I'll send the most relevant one-page overview.
