Rory Buchanan

Rory Buchanan has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. In 2020, they became Co-Founder and CTO at Cropsy Technologies and also began working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Advanced Aerospace. From 2015 to 2017, they were a part of the University of Auckland Formula SAE Team, where they held roles as Aerodynamics Engineer, Lead Cost Analyst, and Composites Engineer. In 2017, they were a Summer Intern at Fisher & Paykel Appliances, and in 2016 they were a Summer Intern at Autobend Ltd.

Rory Buchanan completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at The University of Auckland between 2015 and 2018. Rory then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (MEng) in the same field at The University of Auckland, which they completed in 2020.
