Stuart Hassall has worked in the software engineering and electronics engineering fields since 1993. Stuart began their career as an Undergraduate Electronics Engineer/Apprentice at Thorn EMI. In 1998, they moved to Ultra Electronics as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on Naval defence Degaussing programmes, project estimates and system bids, including the British Aircraft Carrier CVF. In 2005, they joined JCB Landpower Ltd as a Principal Firmware & Controls Engineer, where they were responsible for the complete range of FASTRAC agricultural vehicle architecture. In 2010, they moved to R & D Vehicle Components Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed custom CORE embedded operating systems for all company products and PC tools. In 2015, they joined Vayon Group as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were responsible for company embedded software architecture development and standards. Finally, in 2017, they became the Systems Engineering Manager at Croptimistic Technology Inc., where they designed and developed precision technology solutions for mapping services and the CropRecords suite of products.
Stuart Hassall attended Staffordshire College from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a BTEC National in Electronics & Electrical. Stuart then attended Staffordshire University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a BEng (Hons) in Electronics.
