Grupo Cropu is a global supplier of components for the automotive industry. Our initial industrial activity was high technical surface treatments, mainly for the automotive industry. We proud ourselves for being a strategic partner for our customers and, as a result of our customers’ requirements, we have grown through vertical integration of processes, taking advantage of synergies in order to maximize the value we provide.

With over 40 new projects per year, 85% of our current turnover has its origins in our past R+D projects.
Grupo Cropu is a family-owned company, located in Burgos (Spain) that was founded in 1975 by José María Basconcillos. Since 2020, it is led by his daughter, María José Basconcillos. 
We believe strongly in our contribution to our society and the environment. Sustainability is a key factor for Grupo Cropu, and so is the creation of employment and the wealth and development of our employees and our community.
