Thar Heil possesses extensive experience in financial services and legal sectors, currently serving as a Senior Closer in Healthcare Lending at Cross River since May 2022. Prior to this role, Thar worked as a Senior Paralegal at McGuireWoods LLP, where duties included negotiating and drafting loan documents and conducting due diligence. Thar held the position of Assistant Vice President at Capital One, leading a team responsible for managing over $5 billion in complex commercial loans. Previous roles include positions at prominent law firms such as Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, Locke Lord LLP, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, Troutman Sanders LLP, and Krooth & Altman LLP, where Thar focused on real estate, financing documents, and due diligence processes. Thar obtained an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and International Relations from The College of Wooster.
