Ashish Pancholy has over 30 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry. Ashish began their career in 1990 as a Member of Scientific Staff at Bell-Northern Research (Nortel). In 1991, they joined Cypress Semiconductor as Director of Design Engineering in the Memory Products Division, where they grew the organization to support peak revenues of over $100 million per quarter. In 2001, they became the Director of Design Engineering at Silicon Magnetic Systems, where they managed all design development activities for the startup and led design activities leading to prototype silicon on a 256k magneto-resistive RAM (MRAM). In 2003, they rejoined Cypress Semiconductor as Managing Director in the Consumer & Computation Division, where they led a multi-disciplinary team to help the company accelerate into the rapidly-growing touch screen solutions market. Ashish also led silicon development for an internal startup (Silicon Light Machines) on a family of opto-electronic products. In 2009, they became Principal at a Pre-Funding Startup, where they led the early efforts for a startup in the applied solar photovoltaic field. In 2011, they joined the Northern California Chapter of HBS Angels (formerly known as Harvard Angels) as a Member of the Selection Committee. In 2012, they founded and became CEO of Tutenna, Inc. (a semiconductor startup in the RF space). In 2010, they established Pancholy Technology Consulting, where they provided market and business analysis for commercializing a disruptive non-volatile memory technology, technical and market analysis for disruptive non-volatile memory technologies for defense and commercial applications, and market expansion for strategic business growth. In 2015, they joined Crossbar Inc. as Vice President and General Manager, where they had overall P&L responsibility for the business based on disruptive new technology. In 2020, they became an Advisor at Silicon Catalyst, a startup incubator focused exclusively on accelerating solutions in silicon.

Ashish Pancholy obtained an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Management from McGill University. Ashish also completed a General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
