Mike Espelage

Mike Espelage has a diverse range of work experience in the field of product management, primarily in the software industry. Mike began their career as a Software Support Analyst at Paycor in 2010 before moving on to work as a Software Developer at ERS, Inc. from 2007 to 2010. Mike then joined Unlimited Technology Systems, LLC as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for integrating software solutions and working with stakeholders to develop various products. Mike also served as a Solutions Consultant at Unlimited Technology Systems, LLC, where they worked directly with clients to implement and optimize software solutions.

After leaving Unlimited Technology Systems, Mike joined Paycor again, this time as a Product Manager. Mike led the development team for the payroll portfolio, focusing on client and employee setup and configuration, and also worked on projects related to garnishment services. Following their time at Paycor, they joined PatientPoint as a Digital Product Manager, where they played a key role in the creation and implementation of mobile targeting and geofencing solutions. Mike also helped implement agile methodologies across the organization and participated in decision-making processes for potential acquisitions and partnerships.

Most recently, Mike has been working at CrossBorder Solutions, first as a Senior Product Manager and currently as the Director of Product Management. Mike has been instrumental in driving the company's growth as a leader in AI tax solutions for multinational corporations. Mike is responsible for overseeing product strategy and implementation, managing teams, and maintaining relationships with third-party contractors.

Mike Espelage completed their education at Northern Kentucky University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Information Systems with a focus on Management Information Systems. In 2016, they achieved Level Three certification from Pragmatic Marketing. Most recently, in September 2022, Mike completed the Product Academy Fundamentals program offered by McKinsey & Company.
