Henry Carr is a Senior Policy Manager at CrossBoundary Energy, based in the Nairobi office. Henry has a BA Hons from the University of Exeter in Politics, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University in London. Prior to joining CBE, Henry worked for the UK Government on climate change policy. Whilst there he worked on developing a strategy to meet domestic climate change targets; Green finance, including co-authoring the UK’s first Green Finance Strategy; and most recently as the Head of Solar, Storage and Electrical Networks at the Department of International Trade. Henry has also worked in the policy and strategy teams of Tempus Energy, a disruptive electricity supplier in the UK, and for a connected NGO helping clean energy start-ups address policy barriers.
