Soren Larson has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2010, Soren worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Subsequently, Soren served as a Research Associate at Columbia Business School from 2011 to 2013. Moving into industry, Soren joined Integral Ad Science as a Data Scientist in 2014, where they developed and launched a novel ad-fraud service. In 2015, Soren founded a startup focused on Instagram audience analytics. Following this, Soren served as the Director of Artificial Intelligence at Pypestream, managing a team that developed a dialog framework for automated customer service solutions. In 2017, Soren became the Chief Data Scientist at Consumer Edge, leading a team that launched a new consumer credit card data suite. Soren then joined Walmart as a Director of Data Science in 2019, where they managed a team that applied machine learning techniques for shopping automation. In 2021, Soren joined OpenStore as a Data Science professional, playing a key role in developing data and algorithms to identify and filter target Shopify merchants by estimated revenue. Finally, in 2023, Soren co-founded Crosshatch and became the CEO, leading the company from its inception.
Soren Larson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Mathematics, and Music Theory from Swarthmore College. They also pursued studies in Mathematics at Columbia University and earned a Master's degree in Computational Science & Engineering from Harvard University.
