Doug Stone

Doug Stone is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in firmware development and Linux kernel programming. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Crossmatch since October 2012, Doug focuses on Linux kernel drivers. Previous roles include Sr. Firmware Engineer positions at OpenPeak and RadiSys Corporation, where Doug led significant projects such as porting the Cavium Network Octeon SDK and developing various Linux drivers. Early career experience at IBM involved maintaining embedded firmware for communications adapters and managing projects related to time and attendance products. Doug holds multiple degrees in Software Engineering and Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach Community College.
