Matt Sweasy

Matt Sweasy has extensive experience in leadership and ministry roles. Matt currently serves as the Worship Leader and Community Care Director at Crossroads Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to this, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at 4C Ministry Institute, where they provided support to online students and led a weekly discipleship huddle. From 2017 to 2022, Matt served as a Worship Pastor at Lakeside Christian Church, overseeing and training volunteers in worship environments. Matt also held the role of Spiritual Gatherings Director at Cincinnati Christian University, discipling student-led worship bands and coordinating worship seminars and workshops. Before that, they were the Worship Minister at Journey Church in Versailles, Kentucky, where they pastorally oversaw worship teams and created the vision for weekend gatherings. Matt began their career as a Worship Ministry Resident at Center Pointe Christian Church, leading worship for multi-site venues and mentoring student musicians.

Matt Sweasy attended Cincinnati Christian University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Music and Worship with a vocal emphasis. Their field of study focused on music and worship.
