Ricardo Calles serves as an Assistant Principal at Fairfield City School District since May 2017 and is actively involved in several committees aimed at enhancing student preparedness for the future, promoting diversity in recruitment, and integrating technology in education. In addition to educational leadership roles, Calles also coaches cross-country and track and field teams, advises the Spanish Club, and teaches Spanish, while participating in virtual learning planning for grades K-12. In a parallel role at Crossroads Church, Calles writes articles for a national and international audience and coordinates the Whiz Kids program to facilitate tutoring and mentoring for K-12 students and ESL education for parents. Calles holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Cincinnati and multiple Bachelor's degrees from Miami University, including Spanish Language Teacher Education, Latin American Studies, and Spanish Language and Literature.
