Remco Boonstra

Remco Boonstra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project cost engineering and management. Currently serving as Project Services Manager - Innovations at CrossWindHKN since November 2020, Remco previously held multiple roles at Shell from June 2013 to November 2020, including Team Lead of Project Cost Engineering and Project Cost Estimator at Shell Pernis Refinery, managing over 400 active projects and developing cost estimates to facilitate business decisions. Remco's career began with a graduate internship at Shell in 2012, following a Bachelor’s degree in Technische Bestuurskunde from Delft University of Technology, and a Master’s degree in System Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management also from Delft University alongside a Master’s from Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, Remco has prior experience as a Tourboat Captain and has contributed to educational governance as a Commissioner in a study association.
