Ben Bellekens has a varied and extensive work experience. In 2020, they became the CEO and co-founder of CrowdScan. From 2014 to 2020, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a PHD Researcher at the University of Antwerp. In 2013, they held a position as a Scientific Researcher at Intermodalics, as well as an Internship at Agfa Healthcare.
Ben Bellekens completed a Bachelor of Electronics and IT from Hogeschool Antwerpen in 2011, majoring in Imaging. Ben then went on to pursue a Master of Applied Engineering from Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen, specializing in Computer Software Engineering, which they completed in 2013. Lastly, they obtained a PhD Applied Engineering from the University of Antwerp in 2018, with a focus in electronics & ICT. Prior to their formal education, Ben attended TSM Mechelen.
