Derek Sewell has worked in the telecommunications and technology industries since 2004. In that time, they have held a variety of roles with AT&T, Telogix, and dataX.ai.

At MIT Sloan Executive Education, they earned a degree in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management. At Harvard Business School, they obtained a Business Management, Business Leadership and Development Certification. Lastly, they earned an Associate's degree in Practical Theology (APT) from Christ for the Nations Institute.
