David Vellante has over 35 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 1983, they began their career as a Senior Vice President at IDC, where they were instrumental in architecting a company-wide research model. In 1997, they became a Board Member at Computerworld. In 1999, they co-founded and became the CEO of ITCE. In 2004, they co-founded and became the CEO of Barometrix Software Corporation, a provider of business analytics software. In 2007, they co-founded and became the Chief Research Officer of Wikibon. In 2008, they became a Contributing Writer at Internet Evolution, where they wrote a weekly column on emerging Web 2.0 topics. In 2010, they co-founded and became the CEO and Co-host of theCUBE at SiliconANGLE. In 2012, they co-founded and became a Board Member of CrowdChat, a cloud native SaaS platform. In 2020, they became an Advisory Board Member at Sales Community.
David Vellante obtained a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Union College in 1983.
