Sheldon Chang

Sheldon Chang has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on private equity, credit, and real assets. Sheldon currently serves as the President, CrowdStreet Advisors at CrowdStreet, and has previously held positions at Artivest, Pantheon Ventures, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Sheldon began their career in 2005 as an Executive Director in Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. In this role, they were responsible for leading the private equity, credit, and real assets product origination and management platform for the wealth management division. Sheldon also originated and structured new products, selected funds, and managed the product platform and ongoing investor relations services.

In 2013, Sheldon left UBS to join Pantheon Ventures as a Partner and Managing Director. In this role, they established and led the new business of providing private equity and other alternative investment products and services to high net worth investors through private wealth firms. Sheldon also served as the Head of Private Wealth for the company.

Sheldon left Pantheon Ventures in 2017 to join Artivest as the Head of Product & Distribution Strategy. In this role, they established and led the new business of providing private equity and other alternative investment products and services to high net worth investors through private wealth firms. Sheldon also served as a Consultant for the company.

Sheldon joined CrowdStreet in 2020 as the VP, Investment & Wealth Solutions. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's investment and wealth solutions businesses.

Sheldon Chang's educational career began at Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Business Management. Sheldon then went on to earn their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in Finance and General Management.

They are on a team with Claudia Cameron - VP, Customer Experience, Derek Sidebottom - CHRO, and Ian Formigle - CIO. Their manager is Tore Steen, Co-Founder & CEO.
