Alex Ionescu

Alex Ionescu is an experienced executive and software engineer with a focus on cybersecurity, OS development, and kernel programming. They currently serve as the Chief Technology Innovation Officer at CrowdStrike after previously holding roles such as Vice President of Endpoint Engineering and EDR Strategy. With over two decades of expertise, Alex has contributed significantly to various projects, including work on embedded systems at Apple and kernel development for ReactOS. They are also a founder of Winsider Seminars and Solutions, where they provide training and consulting on Windows internals and security. Alex continues their education with a Master’s degree in Informatics and Cyber Security from the University of California, Berkeley.
