Avi Kama

Avi Kama began their work experience in 2005 at Unit 8200, where they started as a Software Engineer and worked on designing and implementing cutting-edge software. Avi was later promoted to Lead Software Engineer, where they led a team of developers and transitioned them from using legacy code to a new framework. Avi then became a Senior Software Engineer and took charge of the overall architecture and design of a major project.

In 2011, Avi joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer and worked on various technologies, including data cleansing algorithms in SQL Server 2012 and the cloud BI offering, Power BI. Avi was later promoted to Senior Software Development Engineer, where they took charge of complex features, collaborated with product managers and UI designers, and provided technical guidance to their team.

In 2016, Avi joined Preempt Security as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2021. During this time, they gained valuable experience in software engineering.

Currently, Avi is working at CrowdStrike as a Senior Manager and Principal Engineering Manager, where they continue to utilize their expertise in engineering management and leadership.

Avi Kama completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Tel Aviv University from 2003 to 2005. Avi then pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Bar Ilan University from 2007 to 2011.
