Brian Fletcher

Brian Fletcher serves as the Director of Public Policy for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) at CrowdStrike, a role commenced in January 2025. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where Fletcher headed Data and Security Policy and Cybersecurity Policy for APJ from July 2021 to January 2025. Fletcher has also been an industry representative on the Steering Committee for the ANU Sir Ninian Stephen Cyber Law Program and served on the Executive Committee of the United States Information Technology Office (USITO) as a BSA representative. Previous roles include Director of Policy for the Business Software Alliance in APAC, Director of Government Affairs for Symantec, Director of Cyber Security Relationships at the Australian Signals Directorate, and Counselor for Defence and Cyber Policy at the Embassy of Australia in the United States. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and various degrees from The Australian National University, including a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Neuroscience.
