Chad Johnson

Chad Johnson's work experience includes being a Principal Analyst - Managed Detection Response at CrowdStrike since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Analyst - Incident Response at Enterprise Holdings from 2016 to 2019, where they were responsible for analyzing system and application security. Before that, they were an Information Security Engineer at Hudson's Bay Company from 2013 to 2016, where they implemented and monitored security tools. Additionally, Chad had internships at COUNTRY Financial® as a Network Performance Monitoring intern in 2012 and at Ameren as a Network Operations/Engineering Co-Op in 2011.

Chad Johnson attended Illinois State University from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Telecommunications Management. In addition to their degree, Chad has also obtained various certifications from the SANS Institute and (ISC)², including the GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), SANS GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), SANS GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), and SANS GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) certifications.
