Daniel Radu

Daniel Radu is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at CrowdStrike since June 2016, Daniel leads AI initiatives that enhance the company's platform and cybersecurity capabilities, particularly through the development of the Charlotte AI generative assistant. As the first employee and Country Leader for CrowdStrike Romania, Daniel has played a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence in Eastern Europe. Prior to CrowdStrike, Daniel co-founded and served as CEO at Binarly, where a pioneering binary search engine was developed. Daniel's earlier career includes significant roles at Microsoft and Bitdefender, focusing on anti-virus research and security. Daniel holds a BSc in Computer Science and is currently pursuing an MSc in Information Security at Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași.
