James Elliott is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology and legal sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel for EMEA at CrowdStrike since May 2021, James previously held several significant positions at SAS from 2010 to 2021, including General Counsel - Europe and Head of Commercial & Legal for the UK & Ireland. In these roles, James led teams of lawyers and negotiators while contributing to the Global IoT Division and enhancing regional legal strategies. Prior to SAS, James practiced as a solicitor at Rouse & Co. International, managing anti-counterfeiting campaigns and IP litigation across the MENA region. James is a qualified attorney, having passed the New York Bar Exam in 2019, and holds a Legal Practice Course with distinction from the College of Law in London, as well as a degree in Business Finance Law from Brunel University of London.
