Justin Acquaro

Justin Acquaro has a significant amount of experience in the field of information security and cybersecurity. Justin is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at CrowdStrike since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP, Chief Information Security Officer at Evernorth from February 2022 to March 2023.

Before their role at Evernorth, Justin had a long tenure at GE where they held various positions, including EVP/Officer, Global Chief Information Security & Product Security Officer. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity and product cybersecurity for General Electric. Justin led a team of 800 global cybersecurity professionals and managed a budget of $240 million. Justin served in this position from July 2020 to February 2022.

Prior to that, Justin held several other positions at GE, including SVP, Cyber Security and Deputy CISO, SVP of Network (interim leader), VP, Global Security Services, Executive Director, Incident Management, and Director, Cyber Intelligence and Programs.

Before their time at GE, Justin worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as the Manager of the Computer Incident Response Team. Justin also served as a Senior Information Security Engineer at the same company. Justin joined Booz Allen Hamilton in April 2009 and left in August 2012.

Earlier in their career, Justin worked at Sprint/Nextel Communications as a Sr. Information System Security Engineer, and at Netsmart Technologies as an Information Assurance / IT Group Manager, where they led a team of system administrators.

Justin began their career as an IT Consultant at Information Technology Specialists in January 2000 and stayed until October 2003.

Justin Acquaro earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dowling College from 2004 to 2006. Justin later pursued a Master's degree in Information Security from James Madison University from 2008 to 2010. In 2007, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
