Kara Luton

Kara Luton is currently a Senior Engineer - Front End at CrowdStrike, where they lead projects centered around data-intensive UIs within an agile engineering environment. They began their career as a professional ballerina before transitioning to the tech industry and developing a passion for empowering women in technology. Previously, Kara held various roles, including Publicist and Engineer II at CrowdStrike, and worked as a Web Developer at Lewis Communications. Kara's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Belmont University and a Front End Engineering qualification from The Iron Yard. Outside of work, they co-organize the Nashville Women Programmers meetup and enjoy spending time with their golden retriever mix.
