Kira Richards

Kira Richards is the Corporate Counsel at CrowdStrike, where they execute strategic venture capital investments and manage compliance with securities law. Previously, Kira served as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP from 2019 to 2022, advising emerging companies and leading negotiations in corporate transactions. Prior to that, Kira was an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in 2018, engaging in various corporate legal tasks. Kira also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at UCLA Law Library in 2016 and enhanced their international perspective while teaching English in Japan through the JET Program from 2013 to 2015. Kira holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Miami.
