Matt Blakey

Matt Blakey is a seasoned networking professional with extensive experience in network engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Manager of Network Engineering at CrowdStrike since January 2022, Matt leads the IP backbone network engineering team, focusing on the design, testing, and documentation of network projects. Prior to this role, Matt held several positions at WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, including Senior Manager and Manager of Network Engineering Design, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing network design and optical transport engineering. Earlier in the career, Matt worked as a Senior Network Engineer at WOW! and a Network Engineer II at WideOpenWest, specializing in the design and implementation of data, voice, and video networks. Matt holds a BAS degree with an emphasis in Networking from Robert Morris University.
