Phil Roth

Phil Roth has extensive work experience as a data scientist. Phil is currently working at CrowdStrike as a Principal Data Scientist. Prior to that, they were the Chief Data Scientist at Interos Inc, where they led a team in developing new features for a supply chain risk platform. Phil also worked at Elastic, starting at Endgame, as a Principal Data Scientist, where they led the development of MalwareScore, an anti-virus solution. Before that, Phil was a Senior Data Scientist at Endgame. Their early career includes working as a Research Scientist at User Systems, Inc., where they designed and implemented image formation processors for Synthetic Aperture Radar systems.

Phil Roth earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Penn State University from 2000 to 2004. Phil then went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the University of Maryland from 2004 to 2009. In addition, they obtained a certification in "Introduction to Data Science" from Coursera in 2013.
