Samuel McCool

Samuel McCool is a Detection Engineer at CrowdStrike since August 2025, bringing extensive experience in incident response and information security. Prior to this role, Samuel served as an Incident Response Engineer and Incident Response Analyst at Paycom from July 2018 to August 2025. Earlier experience includes working as an Information Security Analyst and IT Fellowship Student with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation from January 2017 to June 2018, focusing on enhancing IT security. Additionally, Samuel taught percussion at the Norman Music Institute from January 2013 to April 2017. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology in Digital Forensics and Information Assurance from Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology and an Associate's in Applied Science in Cyber Security from Rose State College.
