Steve Sandvik

Steve Sandvik is a DevSecOps professional with 10 years of experience in software test and build engineering, encompassing both black and white box testing, as well as manual and automated testing. They began their career in the US Navy as a Machinist's Mate, operating a nuclear plant aboard a combatant vessel, before transitioning to roles such as Test and Build Engineer at XKL, Software Test Pilot at The Omni Group, and Operator at TransAlta. Steve also held positions at CrowdStrike, including Senior Security Engineer and Build Manager, and has been a member of the Association for Software Testing since 2007. They earned a BS in General Studies from City University of Seattle, concentrating in Computer Systems and Accounting, and previously studied Mathematics at the University of Washington.
