Vimal Solanki

Vimal Solanki has extensive work experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Vimal is currently serving as the VP of Corporate Strategy at CrowdStrike since 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Security Strategy and Marketing at Intel Corporation from 2015 to 2020, where they led the development and implementation of hardware-embedded cybersecurity technologies.

Before joining Intel, Vimal worked at McAfee, an Intel Company, from 2011 to 2015, where they were the GM & SVP of Corporate Strategy. Vimal played a key role in planning and executing the strategy and roadmap for McAfee's portfolio.

Earlier in their career, Vimal worked at McAfee Security from 2003 to 2011, starting as the VP of Corporate Strategy and later becoming the VP of Worldwide Marketing. Vimal successfully transformed the company into a leading security provider with a diverse product portfolio.

Prior to McAfee, Vimal served as the Director of Product Management and Marketing at IntruVert Networks, where they led the company's successful acquisition by McAfee. Vimal also worked at Coreon Inc, UUNET Technologies, America Online (AOL), and ANS Communications in various product management and marketing roles.

Vimal Solanki earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from M S University, Baroda, India from 1986 to 1989. Later, from 1990 to 1991, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University.
