Wayne Chen

Wayne Chen is a highly experienced engineer specializing in Linux development and embedded software, currently serving as a Senior Engineer II at CrowdStrike since January 2019, focusing on eBPF Linux sensors and execution monitoring. Previously, Wayne held roles at Fortinet from April 2014 to December 2018, including Embedded Software Engineer 3 and Firmware Design Engineer, where significant contributions included new networking features and the development of FortiSwitch BIOS. Earlier experience at IBM involved debugging network operating systems, while initial work at Emerson Network Power focused on Linux kernel development and BMC applications. Wayne holds an MS in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University and a BS in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University.
