Yaron Zinar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering. Since October 2020, Yaron has served as Director of Engineering at CrowdStrike, following a role as Sr. Manager in the same department. Prior to this, Yaron was a Researcher Manager at Preempt from June 2016 to October 2020, and a Software Engineer at Google from March 2015 to June 2016. Yaron also held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft from February 2011 to February 2015, and began a career in the Israel Defense Forces as a Software Team Leader and Software Engineer from September 2004 to February 2011. Yaron holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, both from Tel Aviv University.
