Iain Smith

Iain Smith is a Chartered Accountant specializing in corporate tax. They held the position of International Tax Director at Bureau Veritas from 2019 to 2022, managing tax matters for the commodities division across 90 countries. Prior to this, Iain served as Senior International Tax Manager at Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation PLC from 2011 to 2014 and as Corporate Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2004 to 2011. Iain obtained an MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford and currently holds the role of Corporate Tax Director at Crowe UK, following a tenure as Corporate Tax Senior Manager at PwC UK from 2022 to 2025.
