Daniel Kusaila

Daniel Kusaila, CPA, DBA, currently serves as a Tax Partner at Crowe Horwath LLP since July 2015, specializing in the taxation of domestic and foreign insurance companies, including property & casualty, health, and life insurers. With extensive experience in tax compliance, planning, and consulting, Daniel has expertise in various complex financial structures, corporate reorganizations, and private letter ruling requests. Prior to this role, Daniel was a Tax Partner and Director of Insurance Tax at Saslow Lufkin & Buggy, LLP, leading tax services for insurance clients. Earlier professional experience includes a Senior position at Deloitte, where Daniel provided tax consulting in multi-state environments for various insurance entities. Daniel holds a Doctorate in Accounting from Creighton University's Heider College of Business.
